In 2007, their individual paths intersected when Adrienne joined the team at SageAge where Diana had been for almost a decade. The next 13 years saw the two working in tandem to recruit and develop an award-winning team, build a connected culture and implement the systems and processes that supported the scaled growth that landed the agency on the Inc 500's list of fastest growing companies. Their shared tenure is marked by the growth they fostered in individual team members and highlighted by the deep relationships developed over all those years. Simple Beginnings.

It only took our cofounders 13 years of swapping stories and two beers later to find the perfect name - ADage Marketing Group. But the story begins even before they met…in another small agency in their small town, many years before that.

Advertising is a family business - as in Adrienne and Diana actually started out in advertising at the same family-owned ad agency! Dale Wagner, our own local Ogilvy, owned the agency where Diana joined her Uncle Dale and cousins around the conference room table labeling mailers, before later becoming their typesetter at age 16. Fast forward 15 years later…Adrienne at age 17, was answering phones and typing up invoices for the same agency while attending college for social work.

ADage was founded to fully integrate the concept of ‘person-centered’ into the agency side of operations, sales and marketing. By designing the culture thoughtfully, we’ve built an organization where people want to work and providers trust to partner with.
